The Web Of Lies Part II
After the first slanderous quote, we have another:
“I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark”
Never happened.
The usual suspects:
___
New Dishonest Liberals:
Liberal Radio(!) – Their logo looks like an anus. (!)
Infidel753 – Someone actually gave him the Smash Mouth Politics link, yet he continues to cling to this article of faith.
My Barack Obama.com – This garbage is all over here. The Obamites love their faith in racist Americans. They research quotes like they research candidates for President.
As always, the poison dribbles down to the American people:
Davey D’s Daily Hip Hop News – How many kids and young people are going to take this as gospel? The left doesn’t care, as long as they can do their damage.
The list goes on, look at this Google search of the quote.
Every one of those is a forum, a blog, an article, that pushes this liberal smear campaign. There are assuredly emails that have this list, and the integrity of the list’s pushers is compromised.
Keep in mind, these phony quotes are not just about Rush, they are about the Democrat party getting the fraudulent message out that these quotes are real. They are defining all right thinking Americans as racists.
It is a lie, and it is told as defense for Sototmayor.

Wait, where did you put the evidence of this being a lie? I wan’t to offer a cogent defense if one of my liberal family members brings this up, but I only see you calling it a lie, not where you linked to any evidence of it.

The quote was one of several fabrications by a Wikipedia editor. Here:

As far as a “cogent defense” goes, the burden of proof is on the accuser, not you. If they bring one of these up, demand they provide the original source.
When they go to a blog, comment, clip whatever, say “Well where is the original? Why won’t anyone show it if it is so damning?”
That’s the staple, the red flag, of a phony quote; No original source will be cited. When someone quotes another person, make sure you get to see the origin.
