This kind of rhetoric, with its pseudo-Scriptural call to action, is toxic. It is getting louder each day of the Obama presidency. No one, not even Fox News viewers, can say they weren’t warned. – Frank Rich
How soon they forget the leftist crazy talk last fall. In the face of their President’s failures, the Democrats and liberals must highlight every yahoo who goes on a rampage, unless they are a jailhouse Muslim convert Jihadist wannabe.
Frank Rich is very concerned however, that the crazy talk is going to far. He even reached back to the 2008 election, where Obama opponents shouted ‘treason’ and whatnot. There was another kind of ‘pseudo-call-to-action rhetoric’ used then, like these on The Huffington Post:

I guess Frank was too busy back then ignoring the top places liberals vent. Oh no wait, he was reporting on the phony Palin rally ‘kill him’ story that Barack Obama used in one of the Presidential debates. In fact the left used this big lie technique for a number of days.
How about all of those liberals declaring Bush/Cheney war criminal and saying the CIA tortured Muslims and lied about it? Do you think that kind of crazy talk was in the mind of Abdulhakim Mujahaid Muhammad?
But we will call that water under KSM’s Gitmo bed the bridge. Today, liberals are talking about… Dick Cheney. They complained bitterly when he criticized Obama’s vapid polices regarding the war brought to America. Now, a month later, Leon Panetta brings him up, because this ‘torture photo’ thing is going to suck for him, and his boss won’t classify them to save some American lives. Obama’s socialized health care plans will be rammed through so they can’t be picked apart, but liberals in Congress want to see every water boarding in high definition. Getting back to Leon Panetta, the Obama appointed hack says:
“…it’s almost as if he’s wishing that this country would be attacked again, in order to make his point. I think that’s dangerous politics.”
Wow, it’s like some slime ball saying:

Liberals write about this, because they are avoiding Joe Biden’s confession that they screwed up the stimulus package. I guess Joe didn’t get that website number out in time.
That bit at the end about stealing Islamic nations oil and planting a base on them, that isn’t in the minds of Jihadists who are trying to kill us either
It’s good that Biden confessed they were liars, because one might get confused reading this article that Frank Rich cited. My favorite quote:

Whoa! Big money Berkeley economist makes daring prediction! I bet he is 100% right. This article also ends in a confession:
“Your taxes will probably go up, and some government programs you favor will become less generous.”
Ha ha! We journalists took you sucker voters to school. Everything Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, every talk show host, right wing blogger, your grandma and your boss said was true. Their predictions were 100% accurate, but we still cover for Obama anyway.
If we didn’t, we would have to talk about how badly he failed on day #1, with his Gitmo circus and how America hates this idea with a passion. By the way, doesn’t this constant accusation of America being the land of Muslim tortures inflame the very enemy we are fighting? Let’s see what Frank Rich has to say:

Remember, none of the crazy black helicopter people remember this stuff. It isn’t plastered all over their websites or the Internet, where they seethe at it and remember those strong arm Reno/Clinton liberal heydays that brought us such hits as Waco, Elian Gonzales goes to Cuba and Oklahoma City. The left blamed talk radio then, too. Never mind the flaming sieges, gun battles and a de facto kidnapping. All of which were directed at Americans. The number of associate suicides didn’t help either, but character didn’t count back them. Except to the extremists who frequent sites like The Clinton Body Count.
They also do not notice our country is being taken over by 18 Czars. Nope, they don’t see it and neither does the rest of America.
Can someone remind me what magic Bush/Cheney weaved that kept us safe from freaks in the vein of vonn Brunn & Roeder and also thwarted the many Abdulhakim Mujahaid Muhammads?

Irrespective of any truth and their fixed ‘means justifies ends’ – by extension if ‘knife does not work – we bring a gun’; these Libs will continue their relentless personal assaults; believing they can ‘STOP the truth!. They must of course; because it is killing them as they are losing ground here. So, when their frontal attacks on Cheney are not working; then UP the ante! They simply, as Obama confirms; ‘bring in bigger’.
They thought this would do it. The old/worn; Cheney is unpatriotic. Then, they must reach again; ‘Cheney is helping the terrorists!’. No one buying either of these; so on to next size weapon: ‘Cheney is unpatriotic – and egotistical. . .and he is old and only wants the limelight. . .and his Mother eats dirt. . .’
Cheney still gaining in strength; so ‘forget the little knife; the big gun, please’. With this one; we now hear from a respected authority on HIGH; a bulletin from the CIA – What Cheney really wants is an ATTACK on AMERICA!
Of course, the Left misses the obvious and true: that it has been the Left’s ‘can’t we all get along’ rhetoric’ – addressed to our terrorists enemies; not any Republican, of course – that so inspires terrorist recruits; i.e. when the weak animal appears; you prepare for the kill; and there is nothing like the draw of an easy kill for those who want to do just that.
What terrorist would not be motivated; feel even greater justification; when hearing daily, the Left’s missives; and so are believing that half of America agrees with them? And so it is; by their twisted logic and twisted loyalties; the Left ‘befriends our enemies’; and they, themselves; become ours.
Seems Andrew Sullivan is doing a bit of the same as he keeps trying to up the ante by his own flaming rhetoric. . .Perhaps; if Sullivan and the rest of the Left, for that matter; would get up from their Obama, ‘belly-prostrations’; they might recognize an honest truth for a change. This not likely, of course. The ‘log of truth; must first be in their own eye; and it is not, of course. Anyway, Andrew first attempted a comparison of Ahmadinejad and Rove – a ‘birds of a feather’ insinuation. Now; Andrew has pulled out a ‘bigger, more damning comparison; Bush – and Ahmadinejad. . .)
It is, of course, Obama and Ahmadinejad who are snychronistic here and who share mirroring personalities and egos that challenge the imagination; and not dissimilar agendas. That they both suffer ‘messiah complexes’cannot go unnoticed; at least, by ‘those who can see’ (we who are not are not in ‘Obama prostration position). These two meglamanical narcissists want to empower themselves into a heavenly albeit, worldly pepetuity; and in order to acheieve such; are willing to damn their fellow citizens at every turn; so that may acheive such.
And while a small thing perhaps; it is nonetheless, noteworthy; like Ahmadinejad; Obama can recite from memory, prayers from the Koran; and Bush cannot. And for that Mr. Sullivan (and Lefties et al); you only need ‘ears to hear’. And you CAN hear; even when lying face down.
