Grand Theft America October 30th:
This week, Joe Biden had to go and tell a monstrous whopper in defense of government control:
“In the middle of the Civil War you had a guy named Lincoln paying people $16,000 for every 40 miles of track they laid across the continental United States. … No private enterprise would have done that for another 35 years.”
No government did it either Joe Jobs, as they paid $16,000 to companies in the form of land grants and subsidies. No single worker saw $16,000 from the government. The workers, many of whom were Chinese, were paid about $28.00 – $35.00 a month to dynamite, dig and die.
But hell, who expects the millions of dollars paid to Biden’s staff to be able to fact check his fibs? They have big government tales to spin.
