Examiner.com – Sarah Palin has defeated a major part of President Obama’s health care reform with a Face Book account.
Since the election last fall, she has endured sexually explicit photoshops, phony Ebay ads selling her baby Trig as a prop, unbelievable amounts of satire, hostile interviews about magazines and made up doctrines, nearly twenty ethics complaints, all of which so far are phony, sexual jokes about her daughter and finally she had enough and resigned as Governor of Alaska.
Yet with all of that against her, she destroyed the end-of-life provisions with nothing more than the tools allowed most teenagers in the United States. She stripped away the euphemistic language and called it for what is was, a death panel.
The Democratically controlled Senate could not explain the end-of-life provision, neither could the White House, so it was dropped. No Republican has been as effective in 2009 as Sarah Palin has. That is why she still remains under attack.
While she is defeating President Obama publicly, the nations formerly illustrious newspapers are reduced to tabloid trash as they hang on every word from a nineteen-year-old son of a meth dealer. The New York Times, L.A. Times, Washington Post and on television MSNBC all are drinking the Levi Johnston Kool-Aid. I am not sure if they understand that while they sling some mud on Sarah’s dress like fourteen-year-olds, she has already set them back with little effort.
Perhaps, as the liberal wing continues to court Levi Johnston they will realize the futility of having a nineteen year old run their most important personal attack campaign. It is wise decisions like this that have most major newspapers in the country circling the bowl.
The are some high hopes she will appear before the NY Senate and deliver a crash and burn testimony, but this is a craven attempt by political hacks to “get” Sarah Palin yet again. Why spend the taxpayers money for this when every major newspaper and Comedy Central host is doing the work for you? There is a certain obsession to flatten this lady and it only seems to swell the ranks of those sympathetic to her causes.
When Vice Presidential hopeful John Edwards was hiding in bathrooms from reporters who caught him red handed with his love child and mistress, these very same news outlets were above the fray and would not dignify such scurrilous rumors, even though Edwards was hiding in a bathroom stall.
Sooner or later the media will find some more red meat to bite into concerning Sarah Palin. It’s anyone’s guess as to what the subject will be, just as it’s anyone’s guess which of these outlets will still be in business without the rescue of Mexican billionares.
