If you saw the Joan Walsh/Liz Cheney debate, you witnessed propaganda 101. Walsh, not being content with obfuscations on television, has reviewed her own performance with some added color:
“…we already have 340 convicted terrorists locked up in American prisons, and none have ever escaped. None. Ever. We’re a tough country. We can do this shit.”
“We can do this shit?” Too cool for school! Too bad the argument is about jailhouse conversions, like those Muslim bombers from Newburgh. Joan knows this, she has access to the Internet, she just chose to avoid it. This is called:
Propaganda: Propaganda often presents facts selectively (thus lying by omission) to encourage a particular synthesis, or gives loaded messages in order to produce an emotional rather than rational response to the information presented.
Joan goes on to play the liberal interruption card, and then sneers out that John McCain and some of Bushco wanted Gitmo closed as well. The fact that John McCain and everybody else did not advocate that Gitmo’s finest get sent to Margaritaville, is lost on the editor-in-chief of Salon.
Also, McCain, Petraeus, and any other right of Karl Marx politico the lefty’s use, did not advocate lawyering up the terrorists so Obama’s lawyer donors could eat well on our dime. Joan knew that too.
Joan likes to throw around who has blood on their hands these days. When it comes to jailhouse converts like Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad killing Americans, she just wipes it off and keeps on sneering.
“Yes, I did tell the police upon my arrest that this was an act of retaliation, and not a reaction on the soldiers personally,” Muhammad said. He called it “a act, for the sake of God, for the sake of Allah, the Lord of all the world, and also a retaliation on U.S. military.”

Muhammad isn’t saying that because a bunch of fifty year-old teenagers want to look cool and say we torture Muslims right? Right?
The message from the liberal White House is this:
“We tortured Muslims, but we won’t prosecute the torturers. We have a really good case against these torturers, but we want to let them go.”
That’s Obama’s new Islamic outreach.
